She’s been trampled on
Mowed down
Poisoned
Torn from her roots
But the sun rises
She turns her face to its warmth
And returns

She’s been trampled on
Mowed down
Poisoned
Torn from her roots
But the sun rises
She turns her face to its warmth
And returns
If the world keeps turning
How is it I feel so still?
“frozen”
Memories flood through
Can’t choose just one
What stands out?
Who do you remember?
All a blur
But the final outcome
“Finals”
Falling for you
Wasn’t falling at all
It was rising and flying
I’d never stood so tall
Now looking down
I can see what we’ve missed
It’s worth it all, though
Each time we kiss
“Tall”
Don’t cry little one
Live each moment with
Love
Laughter
Grace
Take it from me babe
There’s no time to waste
“Waste”
It’s easier to live in the darkness sometimes
eyes adjust
step falls become square
You don’t have to fret about what others think there
Here in the light
so much more to see
warmth touches your heart
If you allow it to feel
“Light”
Sleepy eyes slowly close
Restful head falls down
An angel on Earth
Lies in my hands
I have no recourse
Just thank my lucky stars
It’s impossible to believe we’ve come so far
“baby”

Cause reverie is when ideas float in our mind without reflection or regard of the understanding. And all of it is TRANSIENT.
