The me I was didn’t need anyone

Didn’t want anyone

Thought she was better off alone

The me I was didn’t know what it felt like to be loved from the inside out

Didn’t comprehend how deep she could fall

Thought she would always stand tall

The me I was died the moment I looked into your eyes

I need you; I want you; I feel you to the bottom of my soul. I’ve fallen so deeply that the me I was can never return.
