DIY Baby Puffs
1/2 cup fruit or vegetable purée
1/2 cup rice cereal
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp coconut oil
1 oz prepared formula or breast milk
Up to 2 Tbsp unsweetened apple sauce (if needed)
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix purée, cereal, milk, baking soda and coconut oil. Consistency should be fairly thick (think half-way between pancake batter and cookie dough). If more moisture is needed, incorporate applesauce.
Prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing or lining with wax paper. Spoon mix into a ziplock bag and snip one corner. Pipe onto sheet in small, baby bite-size dots.
Bake at 350 for 18 minutes.
